I write today to note the passing of Maggie Daley the wife of mayor Daley on Thanksgiving. Even though she was in the background of her husband, Mrs. Daley was hard at work on helping children and youth get a better education with cultural programs and after school events. She worked hard even in pain without a complaint. Like all the Daley’s made a mark in Chicago such as Mayor Richard J. Daley. She will well missed.
